Ingredients:

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples (approx. 450g), sliced into rounds
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 16 mini marshmallows, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 16 mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Core the apples and slice them into rounds approximately 1/2-inch (1.3cm) thick.
  2. Toss the apple slices in a bowl with 1 tbsp of lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Lay the apple slices flat and spread approximately 1 tsp of nut butter onto the center of each slice, leaving a small border.
  4. Press the halved mini marshmallows into the nut butter in a row to create a toothy grin.
  5. Place two mini chocolate chips just above the mouth area to create eyes and press firmly to secure.
