– 3 cups granulated sugar
– ¾ cup margarine
– ⅔ cup evaporated milk
– 1 package (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow cream
– 1 cup chopped walnuts
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Pan**
Grease a 9×13-inch pan and set aside.
2. **Cook the Fudge Base**
In a large, heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk. Stir constantly to dissolve the sugar. Bring the mixture to a full boil and cook for 5 minutes, continuing to stir constantly to prevent burning.
3. **Add Chocolate Chips and Marshmallow Cream**
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the chocolate chips and stir until they are fully melted and the mixture is well combined. Stir in the marshmallow cream until incorporated.
4. **Add Walnuts and Vanilla**
Stir in the chopped walnuts and vanilla extract until evenly mixed.
5. **Transfer to Pan**
Pour the fudge mixture into the greased pan. Use an offset spatula to spread the fudge evenly and flatten the top.
6. **Cool and Serve**
Allow the fudge to cool for at least 1 hour before cutting it into squares.
