Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions:

  1. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure a non-stick surface.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure the butter adheres and the fish does not steam.
  3. Season both sides of the fillets lightly with salt and black pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and paprika.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over each fillet, coating the tops and sides fully.
  6. Place fillets in the center of the baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven when the internal temperature reaches 125°F (52°C), allowing carry-over cooking to bring it to 130-135°F (54-57°C) while resting.
