Ingredients:

  • 2 (6 oz / 170g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken breasts completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispier crust.
  2. Brush both sides of the chicken with olive oil, then coat evenly with the mixture of garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder, pressing the spices into the meat.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the basket, ensuring they are not touching to allow proper airflow.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping the breasts halfway through, until the exterior is golden-brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
